Tile and Grout Cleaning - How to clean grout between tiles?

You mop and mop the tiles, but the floors still look dirty, wondering why?  The answer is quite obvious; it is because of the dirty grout lines.  The grout between the tiles can be tricky to get using regular mops or vacuum.

Dirty grout lines can make your kitchen bathroom look grubby, old and mild.  Luckily, there are ways it is easy to clean those lines.

Now, if you have to clean the entire house and want it done perfectly in a short period or don’t have the energy to do it yourself, calling in the professionals for grout and tile cleaning is best.  However, for people who wish to do it yourselves, you will find household products which will prove very handy in this operation.

Clean grout lines can make all the difference in the overall look of your home, especially the kitchen and the bathroom.

    • Use your finger to apply the paste onto the grout lines.

    • Consider using rubber gloves to save your skin from abrasion or irritation, particularly those with extra sensitive skin

  • Step 2: Make white vinegar and water solution in a spray bottle- spray the vinegar solution you made after applying the baking soda paste.  Don't use vinegar if your tile is made of limestone, marble or other natural stones.

  • Step 3: Wait until the solution stops bubbling-bubbling occurs due to the chemical reaction between vinegar and baking soda.  It lasts a few minutes and does the cleaning for you.  When the bubbling stops the chemical reaction cleaning period is also finished.

Once all of the scrubbings is done, take a mop and a few plain glasses of water to remove any residues of vinegar and baking soda.  Frequently rinse your mop and adjust the water when cleaning, this implies you do not spread the residue all over the ground.
